COP26

01-12 November 2021

We are proud to be participating in COP26 in Glasgow during November 2021.

As Scotland’s public water and waste water provider, a healthy environment is vital to the delivery of our services – providing 1.5 billion litres of water to customers’ taps and removing, treating and recycling waste water.

Protecting and enhancing the environment is a priority for us.

To reduce our impact on the environment, we are working towards being Net Zero by 2040 – five years ahead of Scotland’s national targets. We’re doing this by transforming how we deliver our key services.

As well as reducing our own emissions, we work with a wide range of partners in contributing to wider reductions.

Scotland’s net zero ambitions, and our approach to being a Hydro Nation, will play a part in the global move to sustainability and benefit future generations.
