Essential sewer work

Three-way traffic lights will be in place at the junction of Dunvegan Road and Struan Road from 7 May to ensure work can be carried out safely.

We will be carrying out essential maintenance work to valve covers on our sewer in Dunvegan Road, Portree in May to ensure the network can continue to serve customers and protect the local environment.

To enable the works to be completed safely by Scottish Water’s contractor MacAulay Askernish, 3-way traffic lights will be in place at the junction of Dunvegan Road and Struan Road from Tuesday 7th May. The work is expected to last for four days.

The lights will be manually managed between 7am to 7pm to assist with school and ferry timings, while diversion signs will be in place for HGVs.

We would like to thank customers and road users for their understanding while we carry out this essential maintenance work on the sewer network.
