We're passionate about helping young people discover their potential

Through career talks, STEM events and our Generation H2O education programme, we support schools and colleges across Scotland to bring learning to life. We offer visits between October and March each year.

Career Talks

Planning a careers event at your school or college? Our friendly volunteers can attend in person to talk about the wide range of career opportunities at Scottish Water. From engineering and digital, to science, operations, and beyond.

They'll share their personal journeys, answer questions, and open your students eyes to careers that make a real difference, every day.

We offer career talks between October to March every year.

STEM Events

Running a STEM-themed day or subject lesson? We can match you with a Scottish Water volunteer working in a relevant field; such as water science, engineering, sustainability, or digital innovation.

Whether you're looking for a general overview or a subject-specific talk, we'll do our best to support your students with real-world insight and inspiration.

Generation H2O

For younger learners, our Generation H2O programme offers a fun and educational way to explore water, the environment, and sustainability.

Teachers can:

  • Download curriculum-aligned lesson plans and activities
  • Request a volunteer to deliver a lesson in class
