Emergency Sewer Repair Works
Our teams are working hard to repair a burst on the rising sewer main in Stevenston
We are currently dealing with a burst on the 700mm rising sewer main in Stevenston.
The burst has occurred in a field at the end of Clark Crescent.
The area affected has been fenced off to ensure public safety and the team have already started excavating.
Meantime, pumps at the local waste water pumping station have been turned off and tankering operations are in place to help minimise any environmental impact.
Residents may notice increased traffic in the area.
Customers’ water and waste water services will not be impacted by this work.
We are engaging with local residents to keep them updated.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) is also being kept informed.
We will continue to do all we can to minimise any environmental impact and disruption for the local community.
We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
