Traffic on Albion Road in Edinburgh is currently reduced to a single lane
We are currently working to repair a collapsed manhole on Albion Road in Edinburgh.
Following extensive intrusive investigations into the cause of the collapse our teams will begin repairs to the damaged manhole chamber and surrounding ground from Monday 17 November.
We currently expect all works to be completed before Christmas, subject to progress on site.
The single-lane closure that is currently in place on Albion Road will remain in place throughout these repair works to ensure safety for the both the public and our teams.
A letter with further detail is being delivered to residents in the immediate area and we continue to liaise closely with local businesses.
We appreciate this emergency work will be causing some disruption to the local community, and we thank you for your patience and understanding as our teams continue to work diligently to resolve this complex issue.
